Active Minds Public Survey Results shown in a graph - Activity Ideas for Dementia

We are currently looking for people to work with us on an exciting range of NEW dementia activity products. After speaking with Sylvie Silver at NAPA and a number of Activities Co-ordinators, as well as testing some initial ideas in a memory cafe and a care home for people in later stages, we have refined our future product areas to… (drum roll)… Nature, Jigsaws and Building.

We see there is a strong need within all these areas to design age-appropriate, affordable and dementia specific products, and we will work with the sector to understand exactly how best we do that.

If you are an Activity Co-ordinator, Carer, family member or a person living with dementia, please get in touch with us – we’d love to talk with you about how we might work together!
It will be a chance to get involved in the heart of the design process with us, helping us to ensure we design our products with and for people with dementia.

We are specifically looking for care homes to work with in the London and Essex areas. Call us on 0203 701 6779 or email me at alice@active-minds.co.uk. if you are generally interested in being involved, or if this sounds like something you might be interested in working with us on, do get in touch and we can have a chat!
