Our award winning Complete Kit contains a wide range of evidence-based and tested resources specifically designed to engage people with dementia. Supporting all members of the team to deliver spontaneous activity sessions and evidence person centered care.
Active Minds is a company built on years of research and personal experience. A close working relationship with Barchester Healthcare and Kingston University has allowed Active Minds to bring together knowledge, experience and research to create some unique activity products and games designed for people with dementia.

In May this year, Unltd (the leading charity supporting social entrepreneurs in the UK) announced the winners of their Big Venture Challenge for 2013.
Thirty winners were picked from the 140 ventures that applied, and Active Minds was one of the thirty chosen to receive intensive investment readiness support and £100, 000 of match-funding, plus the opportunity to be introduced to some powerful connections.
For 10 years, as of this year, UnLtd have been providing business development support for people “who have the determination and commitment to change the world around them”.
The Big Venture Challenge will be Active Minds’ third award from UnLtd – Active Minds’ Managing Director, Ben Atkinson-Willes, was also previously awarded UnLtd’s Level 2 and Scale Up awards since launching the company three years ago.
Active Minds is delighted to have been a part of the Big Venture Challenge along with twenty-nine other inspiring new entrepreneurs and their ventures.
Winning this award in 2013 means that we can continue to expand the business, and continue to research and develop unique and innovative products to improve the life of those with dementia, and their carers.
